My friends found this beautiful cat in Tippecanoe, IN wondering in the woods in July of this year. She was very sweet, looked for human attention and was pregnant. She is not chipped but very clearly a someone’s house cat. We took her over to foster and provided her with everything she and her kittens needed. She is very young and healthy herself, has bright pink heart-shaped nose, almost exotic cat like markings, large green-yellow eyes and bob-cat like ear tips!
We live in Valparaiso, IN and are not familiar with Tippecanoe area. If anyone could please forward this post to appropriate avenues like “Lost and found pets of Tippecanoe, IN” groups or such I’d greatly appreciate it! 💖

P.S. All of her kittens are adopted into wonderful, loving families.

Cat picked up at 2706 Moller Rd. We did not receive information on the cat’s sex, so I do not know if it is male or female at this time. No microchip or tags.

The cat is currently being held at the Speedway Street Department. The Street Department is located at 1390 N. Lynhurst Dr. Bring proof of ownership and a leash or carrier to Speedway Street Department to claim your pet.

The Street Dept. is open M-F 7:30am- 4:30pm and can be reached by calling 317-246-4141, ask for Rob or Jared.

For clarification, Speedway Animal Rescue and the town of Speedway are 2 entirely separate entities.
The dog will be held by the Town of Speedway for the required Marion County 4-day stray hold. If the dog is not claimed, SAR will pull only IF an approved foster can be found. If no foster steps up then the Town of Speedway will relinquish the dog to IACS since Speedway is in Marion County and does not hold onto animals beyond their 4-day stray hold.

Showed up Tuesday night around the time fireworks were going off around Franklin.

Highly suspect he is somebody’s cat who got loose and maybe ran off spooked from all of the noise

He came up on our porch and came right to the door expecting to get inside.
He seems pretty spooked to be outside, like he’s not used to it.
He’s a friendly little guy, was desperate for attention, and came right to us when he saw us

We cannot keep him, we have a cat who is FeLV+ and also dealing with FIP
